EAGLE PCB Power Tools is a custom designed set of executable programs and EAGLE User Language Programs (ULP's) that greatly extend the power of CadSoft's EAGLE. The expanded features are as follows:
DXF to EAGLE-Script Converter
This utility is very powerful, allowing you to import drawings from other DXF output capable CAD packages. One use for this is perhaps importing your company’s custom frames into EAGLE.
DXF Output Converter
This utility enables DXF output to other CAD packages.
Bitmap Processor / Converter
This Tool helps you to modify, process and vectorize Bitmap files (BMP, GIF, JPG and DIB), Windows Metafiles (WMF and EMF) and Symbol files (ICO and CUR) . You can also create EAGLE Script Files from these Bitmap files.
Gerber to EAGLE-Script Converter
This utility imports Gerber file data into EAGLE from other programs using the RX274 or 274X format.
Rotation Tool
Now you can rotate elements on your board to any custom angle. Very useful for custom rotated board designs e.g. place chips at 45°.
Scale Tool
Scale selected elements or even the entire board! Very useful for board documentation, blow-up views etc.
Unit Conversion Tool
This nifty little tool helps you to convert distances from one unit to another. This tool is discreetly placed in the status bar of the EAGLE Board Editor window.
Arc Tool
User Language Program: Creates Arcs in various forms.
Dimension Tool
Insert dimensions on your board layouts for documentation of mechanical characteristics, e.g. length/width dimensions etc. Make EAGLE behave like a standard drawing CAD tool. What is unique is that these dimensions are created automatically, AutoDIMENSION.
Dimension Tool 1:
Writes dimension texts beside the visible drawing objects.
Dimension Tool 2:
Writes dimension texts with line arrows beside the visible drawing objects.
Dimension Tool 3:
Writes dimension texts with link lines beside the visible drawing objects.
